I started to play the bass guitar a little “by accident” when I took my musical education in secondary school. As a classical guitar player. Lack of bass players was the reason behind it, but I soon felt that I picked the right instrument and started to focus more on the bass than on the classical guitar.
After I left school I played in various constellations; everything from cover bands to jazz quintets and big bands. When family took more and more time from music I decided to leave the music behind. It turned out to be a ten year hiatus. Now my musical interest is bigger and I’m more devoted to music than ever before.
Apart from playing the bass I also play the guitar and sing, both in a choir and solo performances. Actually my musical “career” started out when I was about 8 years old – as a drummer. Being broad genre-wise is my strength and as a musician in general and as a bass player I try to be as versatile as possible.
